How do I find you?
I am located across from Erie lake on Highway 3. (Heading west from Salmo) If you have passed the red barn or reached Pine Springs Rv park you have gone too far. The driveway is on the right hand side of the road right after the lake. (Heading East from Trail/Castlegar/Fruitvale) I am on the left hand side of the road right after the big red barn and before you reach the lake. The driveway is on the left.
Come up the driveway- Park next to the white sea-can across from the cottage. Walk up the driveway and cross the bridge to the main house. Enter through the door on the far right side of the home. Signs will be up to help with directions.
What does an appointment look like?
Due to the fact that I am dually licensed as an RMT and Osteopath my treatments are dynamic and unique. You will come into the clinic, we will discuss the reasons for your appointment. I will then run through an assessment of your physical body to understand where the imbalances are present and what the focus of the treatment will be. You will stay clothed for the appointment as I treat the restrictions and imbalances found in the body. Every treatment differs depending on what presents in the physical body that day. No oil is used during treatment.
What conditions do you treat?
I am trained to treat most physical complaints. Common reasons for seeking treatment may include headaches, neurological conditions, aches and pains, disc herniations, tendonitis, carpal tunnel, spinal pain, hip pain, pregnancy, pediatric support (colic, digestive and sleeping issues), nervous system regulation, postural imbalances, digestive concerns, acid reflux ( heart burn), concussions, whiplash, sprains and strains, knee pain, fertility support, painful menses, post partum, tinnitus, plantar fasciitis and more.
Do you treat kids?
Absolutely, I treat children of all ages. Many newborns suffer from digestive issues or colic. Manual Osteopathy can be helpful in supporting optimal health at all ages. Treatment times are shorter for children.
What is your education background?
I attended the 3 year RMT program from 2004-2007 in New Westminster B.C. I then attended the 5 year Manual Osteopath program from 2015-2020 in Vancouver, B.C. I have also completed several post grad courses on Visceral release, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Joint mobilizations, Myofascial release and Concussion support.
Do I need to bring anything?
If you are wearing tight restrictive clothing please bring something loose and breathable. Shorts, sweat pants, t-shirt, tank top or sports bra. Please bring your insurance information if you would like to take advantage of direct billing.
What type of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, credit cards and e-transfer.
How often should I come?
This will depend on what condition you are currently experiencing. With acute injuries the frequency of treatment may need to be increased.

Allison is intuitive, and skillful. She’s the caliber of therapist that you don’t need to verbally communicate your pain to. She just understands anatomy and energy so well. I would love to have her cloned. Highly recommend her.
